Privacy Policy

BGT Agency ("we", "us") provides a done-for-you content, messaging and growth service for Instagram coaches and creators ("partners"). A partner connects their own Instagram professional account and authorizes us to act on their behalf. This policy explains what data we access, why, how we protect it, and how it can be deleted.

1. Information we access

When a partner connects their Instagram account through Meta's official login, we access only what is needed to run the service:

• Profile basics — account id, username, name, follower count, media count.
• Content — the partner's posts and reels (captions, media type, permalinks, timestamps), and the ability to publish content the partner approves.
• Insights — reach, views, likes, comments, saves and shares for the partner's own content, shown back to the partner as performance analytics.
• Messages & comments — direct messages and comments sent to the partner's account, so we can draft and (with the partner's authorization) send replies and reply privately to commenters.

We do not access a partner's password — authentication happens on Instagram's own systems. We do not access content or messages of accounts that have not connected to us.

2. How we use it

Solely to deliver the service the partner hired us for: generating and scheduling their content, showing their performance analytics, and drafting/sending replies to people who message or comment on their account. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or rent any data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers that operate the service on our behalf (e.g. Supabase for storage, Anthropic for content generation), under their respective data-processing terms, and only as needed to provide the service.

4. Storage & security

Data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security; access tokens and secrets are held server-side only and never exposed to browsers. Access is limited to what is required to operate the partner's account.

5. Retention & deletion

We retain a partner's data only while they use the service. A partner can remove our access at any time from their Instagram settings, and can request full deletion of their data at any time. To request deletion, email thebgtagency@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion" — we delete the associated data within 30 days and confirm by email.

6. Your rights

Partners may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time via the email above.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change accordingly.
